The Art of Contrast, the Luxury of Calm
La Dépendance Romantine is a poetic refuge of quiet power — where brutalist structure meets wabi-sabi softness, and contrast dissolves into harmony.
A standalone studio conceived as an intimate architectural experience, it embodies the most personal expression of W7SKY’s design language: raw yet gentle, minimal yet emotionally layered.
Designed for couples and newlyweds, quiet thinkers, or anyone seeking absolute privacy, this 30.6 m² space is not just a place to stay — but a place to slow down.

A Layout Shaped by Calm Logic
The apartment unfolds with intuitive clarity and restrained elegance.
Thoughtful, intimate, and sculptural, the space reads like a visual poem: dark, textured walls softened by natural light; raw materials balanced by artisanal detail; a quiet sense of stillness carried through every corner.
A discreet entrance guides you into the main living and sleeping area, defined by generous ceiling height and exposed roof beams that lend architectural weight and a feeling of shelter. To one side, a subtle corridor connects the wardrobe and bathroom, preserving privacy and spatial flow.
A finely crafted staircase rises toward the mezzanine sleeping gallery above — a second, quiet layer of rest — allowing two additional guests to be accommodated without disrupting the openness and visual calm of the studio below.
Despite its compact footprint, the layout feels fluid, generous, and breathable — carefully composed to move naturally, to rest easily, and to allow space for silence to settle.
A Floating Bed — Brutalist Bones, Poetic Lightness
At the heart of Romantine, the handcrafted sleeping bed appears to hover in space.
Framed with massive reclaimed wooden beams and suspended by custom-forged steel chains, it carries both weight and levitation — a quiet tension between gravity and lightness.
Vintage Icons, Art & Sculptural Presence
The dining zone is anchored by a rare set of Kunstmeubelen De Puydt – “Tron” brutalist chairs from the 1970s — powerful carved forms with a monumental, almost ceremonial presence.
Above, a vintage Murano “Poliedri” chandelier (circa 1978) floats like a suspended constellation. Its hand-blown glass prisms diffuse a warm, amber glow across the dark surfaces, softening the space with a poetic luminosity.
On one of the textured walls hangs a 19th-century self-portrait by Armando Locatelli, set in a softly aged, gold-toned frame.
Its quiet, introspective gaze introduces a human presence into the otherwise abstract environment — not a decorative object, but a psychological anchor, connecting the space to time and legacy.
A Balcony Framed in Steel and Silence
Extending this stillness outdoors, a private west-facing balcony unfolds through generous glass doors.
Framed between weathered steel plates and defined by vertical iron balustrades, it becomes an architectural aperture toward meadows, forest edges, and the shimmering Lake Weissensee.
Here, a trio of hand-carved sculptural bowl chairs rests on black steel pedestals — organic hollowed forms contrasting with the rigid metal frame. Quietly ritualistic, they invite slow conversations, motionless gazes, and long pauses.
Materials That Carry Emotion
Romantine speaks through texture and material honesty:
- Deep slate-toned walls with tactile mineral irregularities
- Rough plaster and schiefer stone surfaces
- Warm oak countertops and handcrafted shelving
- Solid brass hooks aging naturally over time
- Softly blackened hardware and industrial details
Each element is deliberately restrained, allowing materials to hold the atmosphere — not as decoration, but as presence.
Amenities – The Essentials of Quiet Independence and living Comfort
Every W7SKY suite is conceived not only as a place to stay, but as a temporary home shaped for slow living and effortless autonomy.
Each apartment is equipped with a fully appointed kitchen — including cookware, tableware, glassware and essential utensils as well as coffee machine and kettle— allowing guests to cook, prepare and linger over meals in complete privacy, at their own rhythm.
The bathroom becomes a space of ritual and restoration, stocked with refined bathing amenities, soft towels, bathrobes and a hairdryer — designed to support both morning and evening routines.
For security a discreet in-room safe is provided, while high-speed wireless internet offers seamless connectivity, without interrupting the stillness of the space.
A flat-screen television is subtly integrated into the interior, available for quiet evenings, music, or cinematic retreat — present, but never dominant.
For extended stays and true independence, each suite also includes access to essential household tools: a vacuum cleaner, iron and ironing board, and basic cleaning equipment — so the apartment can be lived in, not merely occupied.
At W7SKY, comfort is never loud. It functions calmly in the background — supporting your stay, without ever disrupting its atmosphere.
A sanctuary for those who find luxury not in abundance, but in silence, material honesty, and architectural restraint.
