The Floating Pavilion is more than a structure; it’s a statement of refined living — a place where time slows, ideas flow, and experiences become timeless.
Nestled in the heart of nature, the Laguna House is a masterpiece of harmony, innovation, and tranquility. Originally conceived as a scientific experiment by Weissenseer HSB and designed by Dr. MICHAEL TRIBUS, this pioneering passive house was the first of its kind globally — designed to explore the resilience of wood and energy-efficient building in a water-based environment. Over time, the project has quietly proven its worth, standing today as a living symbol of sustainability and architectural foresight.
With its undulating roof — echoing the rhythm of the waves — and floor-to-ceiling glass that dissolves the boundary between inside and out, the Pavilion moves with the sun-light and responds to the touch of a single hand. It absorbs the sun’s warmth, reflects the changing sky, and creates an intimate dialogue with its surroundings.
And all around it, the garden breathes.
Flowing gently between sculpted hedges, soft hills, and flowering curves, the landscape is reminiscent of a Japanese stroll garden — calm, layered, and contemplative. Paths of white gravel draw you in quietly, bending through greenery to reveal a sense of movement and stillness at once.
The Pavilion sits lightly above a private reed-lined cove, encircled by wooden decks and floating platforms, offering space to gather, reflect, or simply sit with the lake.
Now part of the W7SKY Oasis, the Laguna House serves as a seasonal, on-demand venue for private gatherings and curated experiences — intimate, immersive, and entirely unforgettable.
