As a Creative Director, cross-media concept designer, and branding specialist, my work is centered on understanding and shaping exceptional concepts that create meaningful impact and add lasting value to both product and customer experience.

JULIA CENKER

Julia Cenker

For almost two decades, I have worked with and led multidisciplinary teams who share my passion for innovation across graphic and web design, photography, video production, architecture, and interior design, as well as immersive visual experiences in both moving and still media—where art and technology converge.

At the core of my work lies a strategic understanding of brand and product design, combined with a strong creative instinct: translating vision into meaningful, tangible experiences.

Art and design, to me, are the sublimation of human expression—the raison d’être, the transcendental language of our civilization, and the most enduring chronicle of our spiritual and emotional journey.

I design beyond rigid layouts, beyond predictable patterns, beyond industry taboos—embracing an algorithmic flow of form, material, light, and narrative. For me, design is intention made visible. It creates orientation in complexity. It shapes how we move through space, how we interact with products, how we connect with brands—and ultimately, how we relate to one another.

For over a decade, I have collected art guided not by trends, but by intuition. The thrill has always been in discovering what others may overlook, like fishing in an ocean of possibilities, waiting for the right moment to surface. Each piece, each space, each visual decision is driven by the same instinctive pull toward depth, character, authenticity, and boldness

My journey into vintage furniture—an essential element of the W7SKY visual language and DNA—has deepened my understanding of design organically, expanding my perspective beyond curated spaces.

At the heart of my design vision of W7SKY lies a distinct point of view shaped by instinct, curiosity, and an uncompromising belief in unseen potential. A vision where Weissensee meets the infinite sky of understated elegance and quiet chic—where heritage is respected yet pushed beyond convention. Where elegance is not polished perfection, but something lived-in, expressive, and unapologetically RAW. Each apartment, each room, becomes a dialogue between structure and emotion, discipline and disruption.

One of the central element of the W7SKY concept is storytelling. Each apartment is conceived with a distinct identity—designed to evoke a particular mood, expressed symbolically through its name and visual language.

The apartment names are both labels and references, drawing inspiration from history, locality, iconic personalities, characteristic colors, and Mediterranean warmth. These elements are woven into a contemporary narrative that informs material choices, spatial composition, and curated details—so that each carefully composed space becomes a story you enter.

W7SKY is rooted in a legacy of precision, innovation, and tradition owed by the Weissenseer Family, represented by Christof Weissenseer, CEO of Weissenseer Holz – System – Bau GmbH – WEISSENSEER Group.

WEISSENSEER HOLZ SYSTEM BAU – CHRISTOF WEISSENSEER

At its structural core, W7SKY incorporates the WEISSENSEER HSB Standard—a hallmark of eco timber construction that reflects 95 years of engineering and innovation excellence. As an international pioneer in passive and plus-energy building standards, the Weissenseer Group has realized flagship projects across the globe, setting benchmarks for sustainable, future-oriented architecture.

W7SKY marks a defining milestone: the first “Very Home Edition of WEISSENSEER ”—a design-forward residential expression rendered and realized by the Weissenseer team.

As part of this commitment to innovation and excellence, another pioneering element from the Weissenseer Group portfolio is seamlessly integrated into W7SKY: the Boxxes bathroom modules.

BOXXES – CHRISTOF JR

Developed and led by Christof Jr., son of Christof Weissenseer, Boxxes represents a new generation of entrepreneurial thinking—rooted in innovation while continuing a strong family tradition of precision, quality, and forward-looking design.

The result is a harmonious synthesis of efficiency, aesthetics, and comfort. Each bathroom is conceived as a refined spatial experience—highly functional and meticulously engineered, yet sensorial in presence. Defined by production efficiency and limitless execution standards, Boxxes bathrooms set new benchmarks for contemporary living environments.

W7SKY – Design Language & Aesthetic

The predominant style of the W7SKY Estate is rooted in vintage design, infused with a nostalgic, character-driven charm. Hand-selected vintage furniture and décor bring depth, warmth, and authenticity to each space. Every piece carries a story—adding soul, texture, and a quiet sense of history that gives the interiors their distinctive identity.

This timeless foundation is thoughtfully paired with selected interior design languages, most notably Modern Mediterranean style. Inspired by the warmth, elegance, and relaxed sophistication of Mediterranean living, these influences are reinterpreted through a contemporary, curated lens—where heritage and modernity coexist in balance.

At W7SKY, we also embrace the philosophy of Wabi-Sabi—the Japanese aesthetic that finds beauty in imperfection, simplicity and the natural world. This sensibility is reflected in our use of natural materials and timeless textures. Raw wood and stone appear in their most organic, unprocessed forms, combined with minimalist clarity, where every element serves a purpose and invites calmness, light, and spatial breathing room.

Functionality plays an equally essential role. Drawing from Midcentury Modern principles, our interiors prioritize intelligent, user-friendly design. Form follows function—each piece is practical, efficient, and thoughtfully proportioned, proving that utility and elegance are not opposing forces, but complementary ones.

To ground the spaces with an urban edge, we integrate elements of Industrial Design. Raw concrete, exposed brick, steel, and reclaimed wood introduce honesty and structure, blending the industrial with the organic to create environments that feel both sophisticated and authentic.

Finally, W7SKY is energized by the bold spirit of Art Deco. Geometric forms and vibrant, expressive color accents appear throughout furnishings, surfaces, and details—adding confidence, rhythm, and artistic flair to the overall composition.

Together, these influences form a layered, cohesive design language—where past and present, restraint and expression, function and emotion converge to create spaces that feel curated, lived-in, and unmistakably W7SK

Our External Partners – the Craftmanship

W7SKY is the result of a collective effort —shaped and elevated by exceptional external partners whose contributions have been truly invaluable to the project.

We extend our sincere appreciation to the creative tandem from Original in Berlin—Lars Triesch and Nico—passionate architects and dedicated vintage design collectors whose depth of expertise and curatorial sensitivity have enriched W7SKY in profound ways. Their instinctive understanding of the visual language and atmospheric mood defined for the project was remarkable, translating vision into substance with clarity, creativity, and intelligence. Their input consistently resulted in thoughtful, top-tier solutions that balanced creative expression with functional precision.

We are grateful to our local craftsmen, whose work brings tactility and authenticity to every space. In particular, Peter Krainer, whose bespoke carpentry—from custom-designed tables to sideboards and built-in elements—was carved and tailored specifically for W7SKY, embodying craftsmanship at its finest.

Further depth was added through the expertise of local textile and fabric specialists, who curated design sheets, tapestries, carpets and curtains that elevate each interior with texture, warmth, and nuance.

Our appreciation also extends to Vienna-based art collectors—especially Sava Arts—as well as artisan workshops and master framers, whose refined eye and craftsmanship ensured that each artwork is presented with the respect, precision, and presence it deserves.

Together, these collaborations form the cultural and material fabric of W7SKY—where shared values, craftsmanship, and creative rigor converge to create spaces of lasting character.
